- Beneficiaries: Approximately 500 local residents, including community volunteers, farmers, and village residents vulnerable to wildfire risk.
Australian funding supported wildfire awareness workshops, firefighting training, emergency response simulations and the distribution of firefighting equipment to local volunteer teams in three villages in Çanakkale. These activities strengthened community preparedness and early-response capacity in areas facing increasing wildfire risk, while promoting locally led approaches to climate resilience and disaster management.
2. My Green Çanakkale

- Beneficiaries: Residents of Çanakkale and surrounding communities.
Community tree-planting activities restored green spaces damaged by recent wildfires in Çanakkale, while environmental awareness initiatives encouraged local stewardship and biodiversity conservation. The project contributed to environmental recovery and climate resilience through direct community participation.
3. Women Produce

- Location: Eceabat, Çanakkale
- Beneficiaries: Women aged 20–65 living in Eceabat.
New equipment and training resources were delivered to support vocational courses for women in textiles, clothing production, ceramics and handicrafts at the Eceabat Public Education Centre. Participants gained practical skills and expanded opportunities to generate income through locally marketable products.
4. Youth Disaster Ready: Post-Fire Resilience Program for Disadvantaged and Disabled Young Women in Antalya

- Project Partners: Alanya Environmental Protection and Solidarity Association; Yenigün Alanya Association
- Location: Antalya, including Alanya, Manavgat, Serik and Aksu
- Beneficiaries: 150 young women aged 18–30 from disadvantaged households, as well as more than 300 household members and approximately 10,000 people reached through awareness activities.
Australian funding provided psychosocial support sessions, household preparedness training, emergency planning activities, disaster kits and community awareness campaigns to young women with disabilities across Antalya Province. The initiative strengthened individual and community resilience in areas increasingly exposed to wildfires.
5. MediVan: Enhancing Safe and Inclusive Access to Essential Health and Sexual and Reproductive Health Services for Women and Children in Hard-to-Reach Communities

- Beneficiaries: Approximately 6,000 individuals, including women, girls, children, refugees and vulnerable members of host communities.
This project delivered mobile health outreach services, including primary healthcare consultations, sexual and reproductive health services, specialist referrals and community awareness sessions in underserved communities across Hatay. The initiative improved access to essential services for women, children, refugees and other vulnerable populations affected by displacement and the ongoing impacts of the 2023 earthquakes.
6. Building the Future: Transforming Türkiye’s Historical Zoology Collection into a 21st-Century Learning Laboratory

- Beneficiaries: At least 300 children, teachers, students, researchers and the wider public through online access to educational resources.
The digitisation of approximately 1,200 zoological specimens and development of a bilingual online learning platform transformed Türkiye's oldest zoology collection into a more accessible educational resource. The project expanded opportunities for biodiversity education, STEM learning and climate literacy.
7. Digital Harmony Room

- Location: Avcılar, Istanbul
- Beneficiaries: 40 adults with disabilities, 30 caregiving mothers, and approximately 5,000 community members reached through awareness activities.
This project funding the establishment of a technology-enabled learning and sensory rehabilitation space was at the Gülten Nakipoğlu Disability Centre, equipped with digital learning tools and interactive technologies. The initiative enhanced educational and therapeutic support for adults with disabilities while also strengthening digital literacy and psychosocial wellbeing among caregivers.
