HE Mr James Larsen pays a visit to Anitkabir
The newly appointed Australian Ambassador to Turkey HE Mr James Larsen paid a visit to Anitkabir (the founder of modern Turkey Atatürk’s Mausoleum) on Monday, 3 March 2014. Ambassador Larsen laid a wreath at Ataturk’s Mausoleum and was accompanied by his wife, Mrs Antoinette Merrillees-Larsen and staff at the Australian Embassy in Ankara. Following the wreath-laying and the observance of one minute's silence, the Ambassador signed the Book of Honour and visited the Atatürk Museum and Independence War Museum.
