The Tourist and Business Visitor streams of the Visitor visa (subclass 600) are processed at the Australian Embassy in Ankara for people residing in Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan.
The Visitor visa (subclass 600) - Tourist Stream is for people travelling to Australia for a holiday, recreation or to visit family and friends and for other purposes not related to business or medical treatment.
The Visitor visa (subclass 600) - Business Visitor Stream is for people travelling to Australia for a short business visit. This includes making a general business or employment enquiry, negotiations, participating in a conference or travelling as part of an official delegation. This visa does not allow you to work in Australia.
The Sponsored Family stream is for people travelling to Australia to visit their family. You must have a sponsor who might be asked to provide a bond. This application is lodged and processed in Australia and information can be found at Visitor visa (subclass 600) – Sponsored Family Stream
